[Elmers] First Radio

Hi,

I just passed my Tech exam and received my call sign. Now I'm looking for a
radio but I'm not sure which one to get. I live in a small condo and don't
have a ton of money, so I'm looking for a handheld up to $100. I live in
Ladera Ranch, so I wanted to see what you guys thought would be a good
radio since I'll probably end up connecting with you. Also, what are your
suggestions for getting more involved in the community?
